TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  1. Gift certificates purchased through the American Mensa Web site are considered prepayment of services from American Mensa, Ltd.
  2. Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates must be spent within 24 months from the date of issuance. The 'expires' date is included on the gift certificate.
  3. Gift certificates must be redeemed through the American Mensa Web site (www.us.mensa.org) only toward the purchase of new memberships, renewals and reinstatements. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for the purchase of services or products at American Mensa's regional or local levels, Fox Imaging Web site (www.foximaging.com), or any other Web site operated by American Mensa, its affiliates, or any other person or entity.
  4. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
  5. Any unused balance is solely tied to the gift certificate 'claim code' and is not transferable. The original expiration date will apply to any unused balance.
  6. If your purchase exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay the balance at the time of purchase.
  7. Gift certificates and their use on American Mensa's Web site are subject to American Mensa's privacy policy.
  8. The risk of loss and title for gift certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact a Member Services representative at memberservices@americanmensa.org or call 817/607-0060 ext. 199.
  9. American Mensa reserves the right to place a member record on hold and request an alternative form of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate is redeemed through American Mensa's Web site.
  10. American Mensa may provide gift certificate purchasers with information about the redemption status of gift certificates.
  11. American Mensa gift certificates are issued and sold by American Mensa, Ltd., a not-for-profit corporation incorporated under the laws of the State of New York. By visiting American Mensa's Web site, you agree that the laws of the state of New York, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these gift certificate terms and conditions.
