Corporate Development Manager
Baron is responsible for building American Mensa's sponsorship program as well as expanding the fundraising and development activities of the Mensa Foundation. He develops relationships with companies to gain sponsorships for events such as the Colloquiums, the Annual Gatherings and MindGames®. He secures donations to the Foundation from individuals and corporations. He also sells advertising for the Bulletin and other outlets.
Baron earned a bachelor's degree in politics and computer science from New York University, where he was an All-American springboard diver. He worked for more than four years in the Office of the Economic Development Administrator at the City of New Haven, New Haven, Conn., his hometown. He has worked with numerous nonprofit agencies and says he loves raising funds for good causes.
