Welcome, business whiz kids!
Thank you for taking an interest in Free GMAT Month!
When you received great scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), a weight was lifted off your MBA-seeking shoulders. Why not broaden your horizons and add Mensa membership next to that top business school on your résumé?
During the month of September, American Mensa will waive the $40 membership application fee for anyone with a qualifying GMAT score of 95 percent or higher — no matter what year you took the test. Just send us your application by Sept. 30, 2009, and then make sure we receive your test scores by Dec. 31, 2009 (because it can take a while to process requests for scores). To participate, visit www.us.mensa.org/application, input "Free GMAT Month" in the promotional box, then print out your application so the date will be included.
Compared to taking the GMAT, this is really a no-brainer! But if you'd like more information about American Mensa and the benefits of membership, read on…
Nicknamed "the High IQ Society," American Mensa is a social and community service organization for those who score in the top 2 percent on any of more than 200 standardized intelligence tests. We bring smart people like you together to laugh, learn new things, talk about their ideas and connect with like minds. We have members around the globe and in your own backyard. We offer plenty of opportunities to make friends at local events and national gatherings; our online communities include national member forums and special interest groups.
American Mensa offers lots of resources for gifted children, and the Mensa Foundation sponsors the award-winning Mensa For Kids Web site. If you want to get involved in your community, American Mensa's community service programs may be the place to start once you've become a member, or you may be inclined to step up and participate on a larger scale via the Mensa Process. Plus, our benefits and services can save you time and money — and who doesn't need more of those?
Mensans like games and other forms of entertainment that stretch their brains. Order our Mensa Home Test, sign up to receive our CultureQuest-ion of the Day, see what board and card games have won the Mensa Select® Seal at our annual Mind Games competition, or listen to our award-winning Conversations with Mensa. Curious what Mensans read about? Visit American Mensa's Smart Buys online store.
You have several options for becoming a member of American Mensa. You can submit qualifying test scores from any intelligence test you've taken over the course of your life (including or other than the GMAT), or you can take our test. You can also submit qualifying information from a private psychologist. Or you can just get more information about why you should join.
