We invite you to participate in Mensa Testing Day 2009!
You've been doing your homework, gleaning the latest information on grammar, the legal system and personal finance; when you're ready to play, challenge yourself with the Mensa Admission Test! Mensa Testing Day is Saturday, Oct. 17, and test sessions will be scheduled around the country throughout the month of October and into early November. More than 1,300 people participated last year; are you ready to use your head?
American Mensa is an organization bringing smart people like you together to learn new things, talk about their ideas and connect with like minds. We have members around the globe and in your own backyard with plenty of opportunities to make friends at local events, national gatherings and in our online communities.
As well as its Local Groups, American Mensa is home to more than 160 national special interest groups, or SIGs. Whatever your hobby or fascination is, we've probably got a group dedicated to it. American Mensa also offers lots of resources for gifted children, and the Mensa Foundation sponsors the award-winning Mensa For Kids Web site.
Our only requirement for membership is a score in the top 2 percent on an accepted, standardized intelligence test — that means one in 50 people qualifies for membership. If you'd like to see if you qualify, you can submit scores from a test you've taken in the past or take our test.
