Members of each group were identified on-air as Mensans and were shown working the phones to help the stations raise money to continue their programming efforts.

Materials for South African schools
Members learned of an opportunity in South Africa, where Langa Township's schools had few books and supplies. Members worked with a local school and its students, collecting 170 pounds of books, 1,000 pens and pencils, and educational games. Langa Township was very grateful for these gifts.
