Research review

American Mensa, Ltd., is supportive of research that furthers the scientific understanding of giftedness and related areas, and we recognize that access to American Mensa's membership may be an important resource to scholars in those areas. Mensa seeks to encourage and facilitate such research, but we must do so in a manner that protects member privacy and shields the organization from risk. 
 
To that end, Mensa has developed research review guidelines that establish requirements for accessing Mensa members for research (or for using the Mensa database for research) and that establish a process for requesting approval from American Mensa's Research Review Committee.
