As Office Assistant, Caleb Aytes is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Distribution Center, including processing of all outgoing mailings and shipments, duplication of all in-house print jobs, and the timely and accurate inventory of all office supplies as well as assisting with the day-to-day operations of the National Office. He is responsible for fulfillment of direct-testing requests, Mensa Home Test requests and brochure requests; he processes 10-year, 25-year, 40-year and life member certificate mailings each month. He also keeps up to date with postal regulations and conveys any changes to the staff as needed.
As examples, approximately 250 pieces of mail leave the National Office each day; up to 350 membership cards will be mailed each non-renewal-season month; in an average non-renewal-season week, 75 membership packets, each containing eight inserts, will be sent to new members; and in an average non-event month, an average of 600 pencils, bookmarks and brochures will be sent to Local Groups.
Caleb came to the National Office in 2012 from Bank of America, where he was a teller; he is studying accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington with the goal of becoming a CPA.
