GCC educational resources

Finding new activities for local groups of Young Mensans is often challenging for Gifted Children Coordinators.  Sponsored by the Mensa Foundation, we provide a selection of lesson and activity plans that our GCCs can utilize at the local level. These plans can be scaled up or down depending on number of attendees, desired level of complexity, etc.

General: The Power of Invention

Virtually everything we use had to be invented, and behind every invention is a person who saw a problem or an opportunity and invented a solution or a new device. Through this lesson plan, students will describe the development process, evaluate the usefulness of various inventions, and devise a solution to a problem through their own invention.
