Last year, more than 11,000 students competed for 190 scholarship awards at the local, regional, national, and international level with a value of more than $91,000. The U.S. scholarship program covers all of the country and awards more than $87,000 a year. The Foundation's U.S. scholarship program relies on approximately 400 volunteers around the country with support from the Foundation's office staff.
