Are you a closet sleuth? This contest celebrates detective stories and the authors who created them. Answer the ten questions, including solving a riddle, and submit your answers. Research is allowed! Winners will be drawn from the submissions with all ten answers correct.

Things you need to know

This contest is open to members of American Mensa under the age of 18. We have three divisions: 7 & under; 8–12; 13–17, and we will choose a winner from each category. Winners will receive $10 Amazon gift cards with which to purchase the mystery book of their choice.

  2. In The Mysterious Benedict Society, the ad in the paper was looking for gifted kids interested in what?
  3. What is the name and profession of Nancy Drew's father?

One entry per member. Entries must be received in our office by July 15th, 2015. All entries must identify the Young Mensan's full name and Mensa membership number. Entries may be published in Young Mensan Magazine. All entrants will receive a certificate of participation.
