Tolkien SIG Turns 40, Earns Nod From Official JRRT Society

American Mensa’s Tolkien SIG is celebrating its 40th anniversary with accolades from The Tolkien Society — that’s the educational charity and literary society for J.R.R. Tolkien.

An article from the SIG’s Beyond Bree newsletter was nominated Best Article 2021 by the official Tolkien org. “Letting Images Speak for Themselves: Tolkien’s Rebus Letter to Fr. Fancis Morgan, August 8, 1904” by Denis Bridoux is one of five articles Tolkien Society members will vote on for the honor.
