Teresa Campbell, Regional Vice Chair 1

Teresa Campbell is a musician, educator, and advocate with master’s degrees in violin performance, music education, and English as a second language. She has been playing the violin for more than 30 years and has worked as a teacher, youth counselor, crisis worker, and program director in the areas of music and ESL.

For most of her career she has worked primarily with inner city youth and families and is particularly interested in the ways that music and education can change the lives of students with trauma histories. Originally from the Twin Cities, Teresa now lives in Avon, Conn., and works at The American Place at the Hartford Public Library helping adults to work toward getting their high school diplomas.

Teresa also serves the Mensa Foundation board as an ex-officio Trustee to help maintain the vital relationship between American Mensa and the Mensa Foundation.
