Haiku Poetry Contest

The Haiku Poetry Contest grand prize winner was 15-year-old Dylan H. of North Texas Mensa, who received a copy of "The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis" autographed for this contest by Caroline Kennedy.

The winner in the under-10 category was 7-year-old Kalee H. of Triad Mensa. Kalee received a copy of "Won Ton: A Cat Tale Told in Haiku" donated for the contest by Henry Holt and Company, LLC, publishers.

All of the poems were be published in the May 2012 issue of "FRED: The Magazine for Young Mensans." Here are the winning poems:
