1985 — Wanda Jacobs, Chair
The 1985 Owl Award was again won by Richard Jones, editor of Gulf Coast Mensa’s Informensa.  In this year, the definitions of group sizes were revised.  Small groups (designated “S”) were those with up to 200 members; medium groups (“M”) had 201-900 members; and large groups (“L”) were those with more than 900 members.  Also, special posthumous awards were made to Don Armstrong for his artwork in Western PA Mensa’s Phoenix; and to Marie Halbert for her cooking column in Tampa Bay Sounding.
