1994 — Teresa Fisher, Chair
The 1994 Owl Award went to Vicki Hurst, editor of Greater Phoenix Mensa’s Much Ado About Mensa.  A Special Mention was also awarded to Much Ado About Mensa.

1993 — Wilma Tucker, Chair
The 1993 Owl Award went to Pat Spence, editor of Gulf Coast Mensa’s Informensa.  Special Mentions were awarded to Michael Pearce for his “Eulogy for William Gaines” in OMEN; and to Erich Weiler for “Holy Cow Lawn Maintenance” in Informensa.

The 1992 Owl Award went to David Mitchell, editor of Orange County Mensa’s The Oracle.  Special Mentions were awarded to LAMENT, Nikki Frey, editor, for “cover photos and other photos;” to La Plume de NOM, Michael P. Cahill, editor, for “research essayist;” and to Tampa Bay Sounding, Jack Row, editor, for “Omnium Gatherum.”

1991 — Karen Koelzer, Chair
The 1991 Owl Award went to Rosemary Marx, editor of Minnesota Mensa’s Mensagenda.  The same format was used as in 1990.  Special Mentions went to Alan Schwartz for his writings in Braegen and The Oracle; to Carol Ann Sasso for “Gifted Children” in M-Press; and to Julie Risdon for “Ramblings” in Of Mice and Mensa.

The 1990 Owl Award went to Happy Aziz, editor of Central Florida Mensa’s The Flame.  The same format was used as in the previous two years.  A Special Mention award went to ChiMe for its Gifted Children’s Handbook.
