PANDEMIC 2025.... SPACE: The Final Fun-tier!

Welcome to Space! The Final Fun-tier, where we embark on an intergalactic journey filled with innovation, creativity, and, of course, fun! As we gather in this cosmic arena, prepare to launch into a universe of ideas that will challenge your imagination and expand your horizons.

We're looking forward to Metropolitan Washington Mensa's 2025 Regional Gathering! We're holding it at the Hilton Dulles from August 8 through 10, with rooms available in our room block if you'd like to stay the night (we recommend it ... check the hotel link in the menu). As always, we'll have speakers from the Washington D.C. region who are OUT OF THIS WORLD! as well as a roster of Mensa speakers with broad expertise.

Haven't been to an RG before? A Regional Gathering (RG) is a weekend-long event (usually Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) held by one or more local groups of Mensa where a large group (Pandemic often gets 300+ as one of the largest RGs) of Mensans and their guests descend for a great time. Throughout the weekend, there are talks and presentations given on all manner of topics (from trivial to political, spiritual to current events, and everything in between), tournaments, loads of games available for playing in our well-stocked games room, and a 24/7 Hospitality Suite. Whether you're a seasoned astronaut in your field or a curious newcomer ready to discover new galaxies of knowledge, there's something here for everyone.

So buckle up and prepare for takeoff! Together, we'll navigate the stars and uncover the secrets of the universe -- one fun-tier at a time. Let's make this RG an unforgettable adventure!

Registration Rates:

We have an early-bird rate of $140 that runs through the end of February. The base full weekend rate of $150 will apply through June 30th, and will increase to a final walk-in rate of $160 thereafter. We're also planning a kid's track for Saturday and have special rates for kids-only attending (and accompanying parents) as well as day rates.

Weekend rate includes: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast. Day rates include the relevant day only. We also have a few add-on options available in limited quantities:

Friday Night Scotch Tasting (supports gifted youth scholarships) - $65

Saturday Night Wine Tasting (after the keynote dinner) - $30
