She was amazed at hearing some of the programs other national Mensas have established to engage gifted youth, senior citizens, and the general public. She has begun gathering information on these programs and is looking forward to sharing them.

The Birth of a Gifted Youth Program
The Birth of a Gifted Youth Program

The majority of Mensa’s new members are in the gifted youth category. Parents are frequently seeking the opportunity for their bright children to connect with others like them. Come learn how two parents saw the lack of a local youth program in Mensa as a void needing to be filled and stepped in to build a gifted youth program from the ground up. Under their leadership, Gulf Coast Mensa’s youth program has seen stupendous growth and success. Today their efforts, along with their daughter’s, have led GCM Youth to be a gold standard across the country with its full schedule of diverse programs for all ages.
