Math Lib Contest

We just couldn’t decide which we liked more: math or words, so we decided not to decide and used both!

We’ve created a mad lib-like story problem, and we’ve taken some of the parts out. That’s where you come in. Send us your entries and we’ll draw three lucky mathematicians to win our cool math shirt.

What we need: six numbers and one place (location — it can be a city, a country, or any particular destination). You’ll find out how your numbers and location fit into our story when the contest is over.

Things you need to know:

• This contest is open to members of American Mensa under the age of 18.
• We have three divisions: 7 & under; 8 – 12; 13 – 17, and we will draw for a winner in each category.

Email your entries to GiftedYouth@americanmensa.org with “Mad Lib Math” as the subject. The entry may not be an attachment – send your answers in the body of the email.

Entries must be received in our office by January 10th, 2015. One entry per member. All entries must identify the Young Mensan’s full name and Mensa membership number.
