We've been hearing a lot lately about cyclosporiasis, an intestinal illness caused by the parasite Cyclospora. It spreads through contaminated water and on foods exposed to that water, especially fresh produce like leafy greens.

The predominant symptom is diarrhea that can last for weeks.
