Can You Explain What Your AI Just Did?
- October 27, 2026
From the “meat proxy” who pastes ChatGPT’s answer without reading it, to vibe-coded apps nobody can maintain, to students outsourcing entire assignments — LLM-generated work has gone mainstream faster than our ability to stay accountable for it. Presented by the Human + Artificial Intelligence SIG, this conversation with Jonathan Bethune will dig into “cognitive infrastructure” and share concrete strategies for using AI to move faster without losing human ownership, judgment or skill along the way. Technical enough to be useful, practical enough for anyone who wants the productivity without the brainrot.
Jonathan is a technology consultant and founder of Ninchi, an AI governance startup, and a Mensan since 2015. Before software, he was a jazz musician and high school English teacher in Harlem, NYC. He now lives in Tokyo and still finds time for Street Fighter and WWE.
