Toronto Mensa Inquiring Minds - Nepal: It's Never Too Late: Redefining Love, Connection, and Personal Resilience on the Great Himalaya Trail

Explorer Patti Shales Lefkos will lead us in a discussion based on her upcoming adventure memoir, Nepal: It's Never Too Late: Redefining Love, Connection, and Personal Resilience on the Great Himalaya Trail.

Lefkos and her husband Barry Hodgins are about to set off on (yet another) trek through the Himalayas. This trek will involve 75 days of walking (800 kilometres) plus rest days. While on this trip, Lefkos will celebrate her 80th birthday.

Lefkos is a former Canadian teacher, principal, late-in-life journalist, and the author of Nepal One Day at a Time: One woman's quest to teach, trek and build a school in the remote Himalaya.
